For your convenience, we have set up an on line shop and secure payment gateway for all transactions you may require.

The on-line store accepts Visa and Master card and all transactions are in Australian Dollars. All credit card transactions are via a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) of 128-bit encryption.

Maria George Pty Ltd uses SecurePay's Internet Payment Gateway to provide a secure environment for the authorisation of credit card transactions over the Internet. Confidential information including client credit card details are encrypted the moment they are transmitted from the client's browser to the banking network using industry standard SSL 128-bit RC4 encryption technology. A client's credit card details are not stored anywhere on the Internet and theonly company who has access to this data is the merchant's bank. The bank also sends confirmation information via the same encryption technology back to the client's browser.  These secure processes provide clients with peace of mind when purchasing online.

128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is the industry preferred encryption method for Internet banking and e-Commerce sites for communicating banking details and other sensitive information (like your billing and delivery address details) across the Internet.

This sophisticated encryption process assures that 'prying eyes' are unable to decode your personal information.  You can check that your computer is in secure mode at the 'checkout' and other areas of the site by looking for the locked down padlock icon in the bottom status bar.

General

All orders placed via the on -line shop are processed within 2 working days, and you will be advised if goods are not available. You will receive a receipt via email when your transaction is completed.

Australia-wide Delivery - All Australian orders are sent by Express Post Australia wide at a flat rate charge of $8.00 under 3kg in weight.

International Orders - Use Regular Australian Post Parcel Air Service. For under 500gm charges are Zone A (NZ )- $9.75, Zone B (Asia/Pacific) $11.85, Zone C (USA/Canada/Middle East) $13.90 and for Zone D (Rest of World) $16.95 Please email for International post charges before placing your order. Express Post International charges can be arranged and costs are as follows Zone A $35.00, Zone B $43.00, Zone C $51.50, Zone D $63.50.

Insurance on International Orders

We recommend insurance on International orders (Australia Post's Extra Cover) for a fee of $7.85 for the first $100 or part thereof, plus $2.10 for every additional $100 or part therof, up to $5000.

Returns and Refund Policy Claims

The Company shall be released from any refund claims unless received by the Company in writing within 7 days after the date of delivery. Refunds are granted on damaged or defected goods only. No goods are to be returned to the Company without prior authorisation by the Company. Any agreed returns must be in the same condition as supplied and in the unit quantity and packaging as supplied. Agreed returns at the Company’s discretion may be subject to a 15% restocking charge and will be processed within 2 working days of retruned goods.

These conditions of sale apply to all sales by Maria George Pty Ltd ('the Company') to each customer. The customer acknowledges that by accepting a quotation from the Company, submitting a written order to the Company, submitting an account application form to the Company or accepting a delivery of goods from the Company, the customer shall be deemed to have accepted these conditions of sale and agree that they shall apply to the exclusion of all others.

Orders and Prices

All orders will be delivered at the Company's prices prevailing at the place and time of delivery. All prices are subject to change without notice. All sales will be on an ex Company's warehouse and the Company reserves the right to vary any delivery and freight arrangements at any time.

Payment

Wholesale customers in Australia can apply for a credit account with us. Unless a credit account has been approved payment shall be made in cash on pick up, before delivery or by Visa or Mastercard, or by direct bank transfer (please email contacts for details). Credit terms are net cash 30 days from the end of the month of supply but the Company reserves the right to vary payment terms or withdraw approval of a credit account at any time. The Company shall have the right to charge interest on any overdue amounts at the rate fixed from time to time by the Penalty Interest Rates Act 1983 of the State of Victoria.

Risk and Ownership

The risk in all goods shall pass to a customer on delivery by the Company. Property in the goods shall not pass to the customer until all moneys owing by the customer to the Company on any account shall have been paid. Until property shall pass to the customer the latter shall hold and maintain the goods as bailee of the Company in the packaged and identifiable form in which the goods were delivered to the customer. The customer irrevocably authorises the Company to enter on any premises occupied by the customer without previous notice to the customer and to re take possession of the goods if the customer shall

(a)  default in payment of any moneys due to the Company; or

(b)  commit an act of insolvency or bankruptcy.

Warranty

Subject to any relevant legislation, all warranties whether express, implied or otherwise are excluded and the Company will not be liable in respect of any loss or damage whatsoever. The customer must assure itself prior to purchase that the goods are suited for their intended use. In particular the customer acknowledges that there is no warranty that the goods will be colourfast or dry-cleanable.

Applicable Law

The parties agree that the construction and interpretation of the above terms and conditions and also the arrangements arising therefrom shall be governed by the laws of the State of Victoria.
